Mary & Patrick J.'s house and bar/liquor store in 190X
They lived at 247 Gold St. in 1900 (1900 Census) and their bar/liquor store was at 157 Myrtle Ave. (per ad in Brooklyn 1899 register).  This was right around the corner from the Gold St. house.
In 1901 Michael was buried from this location; and in1904 Palmer Joseph emigrated thru Ellis Island and gave this location as his destination. In 1900, Patrick J.'s brother, Anthony, lived with them here.  They lived at 259 Adelphia St. (1910 Census).
Mary had died and Patrick J. lived at 8910 Colonial Road (1930
Census).  Mary's brother, Anthony, lived in this house when he died on 9/22/1930.

Don't know why Patrick Duffy and Mary Devaney were listed as his parents?
Maybe his nephew, Emmett, mis-supplied the information?
He is buried in the same grave as his brothers: Michael & Palmer Joseph.

He lists his mother with her maiden name, Katherine Burke.
 His father, our Great Grandfather, had passed away in 1916.
