The McDevitt Family Reunions |

1. 1937 -
at Penn Treaty Park on the Delaware River in
Phila.
This was the year after Grandmom McDevitt died.
2. 194X -
at League Island Park in South Phila. near the
ball parks.
It included all of the McDevitts, Grandmom
McDevitt's sisters -
Celia, Rose, & maybe Nell - and their families,
and the Cahills (close family friends).
3. June 3,
1978 at Uncle Larry's Club, 3rd & Pine Sts.,
downtown Phila.
All
of the McDevitt Families, children, grandchildren,
were there.
4. August
1994 at Mary Beth Hill Tryens in Brandywine, Pa.
All of the McDevitt Families, children,
grandchildren,
were there.
5. Sept.
19, 2009 at Neshaminy State Park in Pa.
Most of the McDevitt Families, children,
grandchildren,
great grandchildren, were there.
6. June 9,
2012 at Neshaminy State Park in Pa.
Members
of 7 of the 9 Families attended.
It was an informal Reunion - and most of the
Family
really enjoyed this format. The next Reunion
will
probably be run the same
way.
7. Sept. 21, 2013 at Neshaminy State
Park in Pa.
Members of 5 of the 9 Families attended.
It was an informal Reunion, as the last one.
8. Sept. 20, 2014 at Neshaminy State Park in Pa. Members of 5 Families attended.
